APPLICATION IS NOW OPEN!
Young Dancers Initiative is seeking applicants to choreograph for our eighth annual concert. This project allows the opportunity for one contemporary choreographer the time and space to create on a talented group of young artists culminating in the presentation of a 10 - 20 minute work, give or take. The choreographer will have one week (Aug. 28, 2020 - Sept. 3, 2020) to set their piece. ​​

Eligibility: Applicants must be 18 years of age or older and a U.S. Citizen.
Submission Fee is $40 

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS: MAY 1, 2020
The winner will be chosen by a panel of judges from the Michigan dance community.
Applicants will be notified of the results via email by June 1, 2020 and announced publicly by July 1, 2020.
